Studio Chi provides indepth and personal Shiatsu Training.
The theory and practical training you receive goes into great depth about the body and how it functions from both a Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element point of view. It blends the Eastern Philosophies with the Western Mind. Understanding the body and its healing abilities from this perspective is well rounded and gets to the root of dis-ease. Helping clients to move forward and heal using the techniques and tools learned in class from Brenda and her team of experts in their fields, is very rewarding. The results clients get are profound and lasting. It is exciting and fun to be a part of Studio Chi and what it offers humanity in the realm of health and healing. I am honoured to have studied with such a knowledgeable and sharing/caring person.
I recommend this course to anyone with a true desire to help people in their journeys back to health and wholeness.

My experiences at Studio Chi have been incredibly inspiring, most rewarding and positively life altering. I was introduced to Studio Chi as I was seeking a new direction in my career path. Following a lengthy career as a teacher in the B.C. public school system, I enrolled in the Shiatsu Practitioner’s Training Program in the fall of 2006. I found that Brenda Molloy and the instructors of Studio Chi imparted the knowledge of their respective areas of expertise with finesse, wisdom and dedication. Full professional integrity prevailed. I always looked forward to classes where all of the concepts and skills were meticulously presented in a variety of interest piquing ways. Often, lessons paved the way to profound insights. Regular opportunities for practicing and polishing skills were provided. All program assessments were relevant, thorough and fair, providing supportive feedback to assist in further personal and professional developmental growth. My year of Shiatsu training not only provided me with a base of conceptual knowledge and a variety of pertinent skills but effectively provided me with a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual overhaul. I emerged feeling renewed, revitalized and prepared to begin offering Shiatsu to others. I successfully completed the full requirements for the Practitioner’s level of certification by the fall of 2007. Personally, I found earning this certification more rewarding and fulfilling than receiving my university degree. Throughout 2008 I have been successfully building Chi Weaver Shiatsu, a home based Shiatsu practice, and I have continued to enroll in a variety classes offered at Studio Chi to further enhance my personal and professional growth.

"I first met Brenda Molloy at a Natural Health Program I was
attending, and she was teaching the Introduction to Shiatsu.
Well that was it for me, a career shift was now taking
place and I wanted more. I started attending weekend
workshops. In June 2004, Brenda announced the
Shiatsu Practitioner Program would start in September.
The program was flexible, two days a week, which allowed for work in between.
I am now a Certified Shiatsu Practitioner and love my new field of
study.
My life has changed tremendously after taking the program. Learning about the body through the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Five Element Theory, the Acupressure system of points and meridians and other types of Shiatsu is a truly enlightening field of study and one I look forward to continuing.
Brenda Molloy is an awesome instructor, Shiatsu Therapist and mentor. She is passionate about Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine among other things. Studio Chi is a wonderfully relaxed natural environment to learn and study in. Okanagan Lake provides a wonderful place to walk to on the lunch hour, and enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings. The program is very organized, with a wonderful flow to it. Excellent Instructors. There is a definite commitment and lots of study required, but worth it all. I was very satisfied and impressed with the program and look forward to the next level of study at Studio Chi with Brenda Molloy.

"Taking Brenda`s course was, in affect, one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Beyond its career potential, living as a Shiatsu practitioner has greatly improved my quality of life. At 25, I had suffered from stress and anxiety since childhood; and the ailments that go along with them: headache, ulcer, insomnia and an irritable bowel. The year I spent at Studio Chi forced me to look at the emotional, spiritual and mental causes of not only these symptoms, but their root causes. Learning the Five Element Theory was like being handed a user's guide to my body. I have learned more about myself, my clients and my loved ones than I could ever have dreamed of.
As a spa practitioner, I work full time at a local spa doing esthetics and massage. Many of my clients suffer from chronic pain and other ailments which they have sought out alternative treatment for, including chiropractics, reflexology, bodywork, aromatherapy, and even; emotional release” techniques.  When they began to see me for Shiatsu, many of these clients were amazed at how all-encompassing this treatment is.  The acupressure release eases their physical pain, while the Five Element Theory allows them to open up and look at the underlying issues that may be causing their dis-ease.  Watching my clients become empowered with information and reclaim their own healing has strengthened my faith in this therapy.  Shiatsu, though over 5000 years old, is just beginning to become embraced in Canada.  The Okanagan is extremely fortunate to have such a thoroughly trained practitioner such as Brenda who is willing to teach this ancient art.
Studio Chi is unique, because it offers the systematic, classical training that is necessary for this type of body work. Working in a small, intimate setting provided me with close contact with Brenda. I gained an appreciation for the traditional guru-student relationship that is a superior way to learn. Before coming to Brenda's school, I had attended a local natural health college the previous year. Although this program provided me with a wonderful introduction to the world of alternative health, I quickly learned that my teacher was a jack of all trades, master of none. I learned to swallow and regurgitate information on exams in order to get my pellet, and pass. From day one at Studio Chi, however, I learned that this style of learning would get me nowhere. Brenda made it very clear that the only way to become a true Shiatsu practitioner, would be to fully integrate the therapy into every aspect of my being. One must learn, practice and assimilate in order to truly know something.
People want to become a part of their own healing these days. And in the state of the world today, a person's own health is often the only thing one has control of. Shiatsu has given me the tools to look after myself and my clients in a way that western medicine never could."

"I'm not letting this Thanksgiving weekend pass without telling you how much I enjoyed your presentation at the Wise Woman Weekend. And I never found the opportunity to tell you, personally, how much I appreciated your offering. You're an inspiring teacher, exquisitely prepared and organized, and you clearly model the principles of that which you teach."

"I have known and worked with Brenda for the past four years and come to love and deeply respect this woman who has grown and overcome many life obstacles in her search for meaning and truth. We have shared Shiatsu, Reiki and Feng Shui.  Her ability to receive, retain and pass on ancient wisdom is a rare talent. It comes through in her bodywork, in her Feng Shui, in her speech, and constantly through her presence.
If you are on a path to enlightenment or are just beginning on a journey to self, Brenda is without question a wonderful co-healer to work with!! be it physically, emotionally, spiritually, or in your external environment with Feng Shui."
